MILKCART:ON at Wickerman Festival. Part One.

We teamed up with Glasgow PodcART to bring you some of the best bits from Wickerman Festival. Here is part one, featuring a cringeworhty beatboxing workshop with Bigg Taj and Spee SixNine, Salò covering Fugazi in a teensy pink caravan, lots of drunk people, and Stanley Odd doing their thang with a group of mad drummers. Watch it if you please.

We went to Brew at the Bog festival in Inverness earlier this month, and made a load of videos of people singing great songs including Kitty the Lion and friends, Stuart Nelson of He Slept on 57 wearing a fetching frog poncho, and Ben from Open Swimmer in a barn (click on the names to watch em!). We also compiled this wee film of campsite goings-on, which is just a lot of drunk people forgetting their lines and having fun. Preeeettty funny! Have a swatch.

OH CHRIST ALMIGHTY - for anyone that missed it, here’s Carnivores causing a whole lotta ruckus in Flat 0/1 on Wednesday 15th February. We had an almighty anti-Valentines show, with support from So Many Animal Calls and our very own Shag Tag wall. See the photographic/pornographic (facking hilarious) evidence HERE.

The LAID Burns Night was hella fun. Awesome sets from Trapped in Kansas and Poor Things in their first gigs of 2012 assured us that both are going far this year, and we can’t wait to see them again. And Scottish hip hop legend Loki silenced Bar Bloc with his poetry - which is something we thought we’d never say. For those who missed it, here is Loki’s unique take on the Toast to the Lassies, as filmed on the day of the event by Ben Cowie
