Remember Remember that MILKY November…
16th Nov: Discopolis , The Little Kicks , I Am Blip and Masters of the Sea
Discopolis
The Disco Police? Who knows, let’s get in about some serious synth. ‘Sounds a bit like digital fucking’ in their own words, with influences stemming from the likes of, Daft Punk and Fuck Buttons. This fresh trio only formed this summer but have since gained hefty amount of hype. Poppy vocals with dancey moosac. Come and see for yourself.

The Little Kicks
Can I have a portion of upbeat indie disco pop please?
Salt and vinegar on that?
No, don’t be mental. Coming all the way from Aberdeen for their MILKY fix, these guys have shared the stage with folks like Foals, The Kooks, Editors, The Vaccines and Frightened Rabbit and we can’t wait to have them all to ourselves. With a UK tour filling their boots this November, we’re chuffed they’re dropping into the flat for some fun.

I Am Blip
A special late night set from Andy Blip will take us into the wee hours with a bang. ‘You won’t fine a laptop in this producer’s armoury, instead opting for a purely hardware-based synthesis for a rawer, dirtier sounding regressive techno.” Well there you have it. Don’t miss it.
Masters Of The Sea
With a healthy diet of Vampire Weekend, MGMT and The Strokes thrown in the influence pot, this band conjure up an ambitious noise that is in one serving whimsical and in another dark, ominous and often sinister. The Ayrshire four piece are fast gaining a strong reputation for their highly intriguing sound. We cannot wait to showcase them in our little flat and show you what they can do!
